Even if 2 vertex are overlapped, I mean on X and Z position, but with different Y value, they won't be welded, even if you try with Weld node, those one will be ignored.
Also on the Spline Demo scene, if you go at coords: 849.32, 123.43, 696.48 (place a cube at those coordinates and check) you will see that the spline is interrupted and that create an unpracticable road that can break the gameplay.
This happens often and it's strange that no one have spotted it yet.
